Don’t miss a great exhibit mounted by the New York Food Museum, “100 Years of Joyva,” beginning July 1 at a gallery on the Lower East Side.
It’s been awhile since we schlepped to Queens for Greek food in Astoria. The area is getting yuppified and maybe it’s affecting the old -line ethnic restaurants.
I know. There are lots of places that claim to be prime strawberry territory. There’s California and there’s the Hudson Valley. New York’s Greenmarket is overflowing with berry vendors, and they’re fine if you’re stuck in the city.
