Grammercy: Prespa for Excellent Affordable Italian

On a barren stretch of Lex, in the low thirties, finding a place to eat is a particular challenge. Now you can head to Prespa for delicious Italian. It’s a great place for lunch if you want to step up from yet another run at the salad bar.

We had a rich risotto that was nicely flavored with Parmesan, tiny chunks of squash, truffle oil, pancetta, and porcini mushrooms. Even better was the simple but luscious papparadelle bolognese. The meat sauce was earthy and robust, just the right touch for a cold January afternoon.

Prices are reasonable. The most expensive pasta rings in at $14.00. There are also panini and salads. Chicken, salmon and a few other entrees round out the menu.
