East Village: Artichoke Pizza Gets Raves

Our fearless East Village correspondent has this to report about Artichoke Pizza in the East Village:

I happened to stop by Artichoke Pizza this evening and itwas "yum!" I got four huge slices for $11. (Sadly, I didn't have enoughcash to try the stuffed artichokes.) My fav was the artichoke/spinach! (The kids loved ittoo.) I also got a regular and Sicilian. The line wasn't that long...about a 10-15 minute wait, but by the time we left, it was growing.
Slice gives the place a thumbs up, too, though they're less ecstatic about the artichoke pie. Artichoke Basille’s Pizza & Brewery328 E. 14th St.New York, NY212 228 2004
