I love dogs. So I’m happy to hear that the folks who brought you Unwined, the wine bar attached to Symphony Space on 95th, between Broadway and West End, are opening up an espresso bar cum doggie bakery at 94th and Amsterdam.

What this set-up will look/smell/taste like is anyone’s guess. The folks bringing you the coffee and dog snack eatery are the same ones who operate Gilileo Espresso Bar, also at 94th and Amsterdam, my favorite coffee place in the ‘hood. Maybe the new canine-human munching spot will reside along side Gilileo.

No opening date has been announced. But with winter coming, this sounds like a great alternative to freezing your butt off at the Riverside Park dog run.
