Upper West Side: Nice Matin’s Autumn Menu Welcomes the Season
If you’re searching for first-rate French bistro food, it’s hard to go wrong with Nice Matin at the corner of 79th and Amsterdam.
The other night, the eatery was featuring its special fall menu as part of an apples, sausages and beer festival. One standout was the sumptuous sweet onion tart, composed of onion marmellata, jonagold apple butter, chipolata sausages and Roquefort cheese. Also rich and delicious was a grilled venison sausage. The creamy polenta and red currants played off against the sausage perfectly.
