Hi Jim,
No, I don’t have any more information. Whole Foods said Spring 2009, but even before the financial meltdown occurred in September, the chain’s revenue was down. Given the economic slowdown, it wouldn’t surprise me if they decided to push the date back. I’ll get back to them in a month or so and check again.
Please convey to them the important need for this store! Let them know that no supermarkets in a 20 block radius have edible food and that hundreds of residents are eagerly awaiting this opening!!
