Zabar’s and JCC Team for Passover Cooking Event

For those of you for whom Passover means dull, flourless cooking, fear not. Zabar’s and the Jewish Community Center on Amsterdam Avenue are teaming up to offer a Passover cooking demo and tasting March 29.
The event will feature The JCC in Manhattan’s Chef Instructor and Cookbook Author, Jennifer Abadi, who will be at Zabar’s 2nd Floor Housewares Mezzanine.
She’ll teach you how to create Moroccan Charoset “Truffles” with Dates, Raisins, and Walnuts; flourless Persian Pistachio Cake with Cardamom Syrup; and flourless Italian Almond and Pine Nut Macaroons.
Also, at the JCC is a class to teach you how to prepare Sephardic dishes for a vegetarian seder. Click here for information.
