Hi there! I dined at Gus & Gabriel on Saturday night and it was magnificent! The menu is so inviting and full of things one would genuinely want to eat ... it was hard to make a selection. We chose the hot potato chips, guacamole and chips, and a bowl of chili for starters ... all outstanding. While the bowl of chili was quite substantial (and remarkably delicious), the other starter portions are small, which argues for choosing several and sharing. I loved the potato chips and would go back just to have them again.

We followed the apps with fish and chips, the hot turkey sandwich and fried chicken. Again, all were excellent. The biscuits which accompanied the chicken were a highlight for sure!

The dessert menu is truly a thing of beauty and I doubt you could go wrong with any of the offerings. We tried the peanut butter and jelly cup cake and the "chipwich and shake" combo. The cupcake was moist, packed with flavor, and totally scrumptious. The "chipwich and shake" was indulgent to say the least ... deeply flavored caramel ice cream packed between two dark chocolate cookies and a rich vanilla shake that had been spiked with Jim Beam. To ... Die ... For.

The wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly, the prices reasonable, and the beer & spirits selection quite impressive. Top to bottom, the whole experience was wonderful and one I'm sure I'll repeat often ... the question is how difficult will it be to get a table once the word gets out?!

Cheers!
