Wonder what’s politically correct to eat with Democrats? You’ll have a chance to find out this week at a local Upper West Side Democratic club’s annual picnic.

On Wed., Aug. 5, Three Parks Independent Democrats (are there any Republican clubs on the UWS??) is holding a picnic. For those who like their politics with a dose of culinary flare, here are the details:

What: for the sixth annual Three Parks Independent Democrats summer picnic!  There will be banjo music by Alan Cary.

When: Wednesday, August 5th, 5:30pm

Where: The Pool in Central Park.  Inside Central Park at 103rd in the grassy area by the pond starting at 5:30 PM, ending by 8:00 PM.  Enter on Central Park West at the 103rd entrance.

It’s a Pot Luck: Please bring a dish to share.  Also, feel free to bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating.  RSVP to threeparksdems@aol.com if you are coming and let them know what you’re bringing.  Call Theresa at 212-865-8824 or Cynthia 212-749-4085 about food or to help with setup/cleanup.
