Gourmet Magazine Gets the Ax

Conde Nast announced this morning that it was folding venerable food magazine Gourmet.  Bon Appetit, another Conde title, will apparently live on.  This says less about the durability of a great magazine brand, than about the ease and vitality of online.To be quite honest, though I’m a long time subscriber to Gourmet, lately, if I want recipes, I just put some key words into Google.
