Calling all Upper West Side brunch-goers—upper Broadway restaurant Community Food and Juice reopened today. The restaurant’s been closed for months due to a devastating fire. Today, it was packed, so it probably pays to get on line early for their popular Sunday brunch.

Aha. I didn’t know about the fire. I thought it was because of consumer disatisfaction with things like charging extra for bread on top of $11 for a smallish lunch salad. That’s sure what stopped me from going back again.
