Holiday Cooking Class: Christmas in Provence Workshop
Paule Caillat, owner of Promenades Gourmandes in Paris, and Rosa Jackson, owner Les Petits Farcis in Nice, will teach a series of four pre-Christmas workshop from December 16 through 19. Paule’s workshops will focus on cheese and chocolate. In Rosa’s workshops, you will explore two ingredients more closely associated with southern France and the Mediterranean: saffron and honey. Dishes such as chicken bouillabaisse with saffron-scented rouille and pear tart with hazelnuts and lavender honey are on the menu. We are an English couple thinking about visiting New York hopefully this year or in 2012 and came across your website which makes me instantly feel hungry We both love cooking and we love meeting people and thought that maybe whilst in the area we could do one of yourcourses and it would be an insight into America and Americans Do you know of any reasonably priced hotels or private Bed and Breakfasts near to the school or within easy travelling distance (by public transport as we don’t really want to hire a car) ? Thank you and bon continuation PS We live in France just east of Bordeaux, in the Dordogne so we love most things french, especially the food!
