This year’s Ninth Annual NYC International Pickle Day, slated for Oct. 4, promises more free briny tidbits than ever before.

From India to Haiti—and yes, as close by as the Lower East Side—pickled tidbits from around the world will be on hand.  If they can brine it, you can taste it.

Here’s a sampling:

  • Radishes
  • Tomatoes
  • Okra
  • Cabbage
  • Fish
  • Carrots
  • Beans,
  • Eggs
  • Mangos
  • Beets

The festival operates under tents, rain or shine.

Date: Oct. 4

Time: 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Place: The parking lot on Broome Street, between Essex and Ludlow

There’s free valet bike parking.
